What have you learnt in Lockdown?

Today I have a little journaling gift for you.

I share with you a journaling practice, I encourage you to give it a go. It doesn’t have to be a paragraph or list, it could be a mindmap, a drawing, a doodle, a collage, or even just a brain dump of words. Just take a moment to reflect and realise how beneficial this time has been to learn about yourself. You don’t have to write it down, it could all be in your head, and remember, you never have to show anyone or tell anyone your thoughts.

Our question:

What have you learnt in lockdown?

Here’s a few things I’ve learnt:

I love being by myself, and almost prefer it to being with others

The state of my bedroom really does reflect how I’m feeling

I find routine helpful

Online yoga classes actually work really well

I’m very lucky to have a garden

Exercising can be fun and fulfilling, not a chore

I find it hard to do nothing

Watching “Friends” is so comforting when the world gets crazy

I work way harder on things I actually love doing and care about

Hugs are the best

I love spending time in nature

I really value and enjoy being able to help people

Being able to plan my own days and weeks is something I want after I finish school

Reading books is amazing

There’s so so much about the world that I don’t know, that I should've been taught in school

I can’t wait until I can drive and don’t have to rely on lifts

There are so many amazing opportunities out there, and they come for you when you’re ready

Now why don’t you think of your own list?

Let me know the most important thing you’ve learnt in the comments, or send me a message on instagram (@floga_yoga)

Happy journaling/thinking/meditating/chatting!

Xx
